Dear Carolyn, Sean, Lorianne and family; Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Brian. I have many great memories of Brian from the mid-80s when he was the juvenile hockey team manager. Brian was a great ambassador for Wheatley hockey and an extremely dedicated, passionate hockey dad/manager. He had a fantastic work ethic which I always admired almost as much as I envied his head of hair! Hadn't seen Brian for some years but he's certainly someone I will always remember fondly.
Peace be with you, Clare and Maureen Gillanders

So sorry to hear of Brian's passing. My deepest sympathy to all. Brian was an awesome man and as a manager when we coached hockey. For some reason we always saw things the same way. Brian always had Wheatley hockey, our team & our backs as coaches. It was a pleasure knowing that no matter what we did he would always be in our corner. After hockey, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Brian & you Carolyn. You made me feel so comfortable & for that I am greatly appreciative. There are certain people you meet in your life that leave a lasting impression & Brian (& you too Carolyn) are two of them. Later, whenever our paths would cross, I was always greeted with a smile & a great conversation, just catching up.
Heartfelt condolences,
Ron Gillanders

My greatest memory of Brian was when I first started at NAPA 20 some years ago. I was young, inexperienced and a little scared being thrown up to the counter dealing with customers. Brian always had patience with me being a rookie, and helped me and always took the time answering any questions I had!
He was a great person, always fun to talk to. I will miss him. My condolences to his family

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Brian for 8 years at Erie Shores and always loved chatting with him. The best story I have is the day that I accidentally put regular fuel in a diesel machine at 2pm on a Friday. Brian had to bleed the lines and he was not too happy. The joke after that was to not "piss off Brian on a Friday!" He will be greatly missed.

My husband has lived in Romney his entire life and I remember asking him years ago on a Saturday morning, “ Who is that in the truck driving so slow by the fields out here? “. His response “ Oh! That’s Brian, he’s checking out the crops. Real nice guy!”. The waving began. Every time I seen him from there on out, a little wave left both of our steering wheels or a wave as he drove past our house. Made me feel like I had known him my whole life.
Sending our sincere condolences.

Mrs. Geddes, Sean, Lorianne and families, my deepest sympathies for your loss. I remember Mr. Geddes as a kind man who always had a smile, even when welcoming a bunch of hungry, rowdy teenage boys into his home. He was always happy to see me on those rare times when we’d bump into each other, asking about my family and how I was doing. Rest in peace Mr. Geddes.

Sending our love to Carolyn and all the family.
We are so saddened on Brian's passing. We consider it such an honour to have had Brian for a brother-in-law. (and friend) The way he cared for sister Carolyn and his family sets the bar for all men, Brian was the type of guy that everyone liked to be around. We truly miss him, his laughter and his smile.
The photo tribute is beautiful and shows how much he loved and is loved.
RIP Brian. You are forever in our hearts.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I was lucky to have worked with Brian for many winters
at Tec Land in the shop, repairing tractors . Brian was such a fun loving guy with many great stories. He took me on several snowmobiling trips up north riding his old Rupp's which were vintage, and he was very proud of them. He later came and helped me out during our tomato harvest for a few years driving tractor. Even though we didn't see each other often, he would occasionally stop in at our farm and chat , which both my Dad and I enjoyed thoroughly. Several years ago we were able to visit at the ball diamonds as I was coaching his grandaughter for a select ball tournament. Also , on occasion I would see him at the arena watching hockey. He did love his sports .
Our deepest condolences to all you on the loss of such a great guy ! We will be praying for you all ! He will be missed !
Love, Ken and Terri Hamm
