It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera, at Hudson Manor Retirement Residence, Tilbury, ON., on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 89. Cherished aunt of Rob Hill (Kim) of Comber & Barbara VanDenDriessche (2012), Great aunt of Jeremy VanDenDriessche (Melissa) & family of Windsor. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Hill (1989) & Catherine Roadhouse (2004). The family would like to thank the staff at Hudson Manor Retirement Residence for their exceptional care, compassion & friendships. Vera had a great love of horses with horse pictures adorning her room at Hudson Manor. Vera worked as a baker & cake decorator in both Comber & Windsor for 48 years. Vera had an amazing wit which brought many laughs to those around her. Rest in peace Vera, we love you forever and always. Cremation has taken place. Interment in McDowell Cemetery, Comber.
