Leona will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity. She was down to earth, a straight shooter and had a quick wit and a colourful sense of humour honed by keeping Looby Construction boarders in line.
When we visited her home in Tilbury she always made us feel at home.
She had a special place in her heart for my parents, especially “her big brother” Harvey. She will always have a special place in many hearts, family and friends, for the way she treated us.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Leona’s family and friends especially Roger, Michelle and Denise.

If I shared all my memories of my Auntie it would read like a novel. She was open minded...relevant and danced to her own drum. I loved that and much much more about her. She was my Mother in many ways. Always knew when I needed her counsel and didn't hold back either. She was trustworthy, kept her word and was a rock for many that knew and loved her. I loved her so much and will miss knowing I can hop in the car and drive out to see her. God granted her a long life, rich in love because she was worthy. To her children, Roger, Michelle and Denise you were so blessed to have her your whole life for your Mother. I will never forget you my loving dear Aunt Leona for as long as I live.
Liz - your niece from Toronto xoxo (smiling...she always introduced me that way)

When I was young, Aunt Leona came to our house for my mother's spaghetti dinner. Her and I had a contest to see who could eat the most spaghetti. Having the advantage of youth on my side, I won. Understandably, she never wanted a rematch.
I will miss you Aunt Leona ❤️ Say hi to all our relatives who went before you. Especially my mom and dad. And enjoy her spaghetti again!.
