Annie Emily Faubert
A resident of Chatham-Kent and formerly Tilbury East Township, Ann passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with family at her side on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the age of 100. Born in Chatham February 13, 1921, Ann was the daughter of the late William and Rose Garlick. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Carl (2000). Loving mother to William (Bill) Faubert (Margaret), Robert (Bob) Faubert (Irene), Sharron Skipper (late Michael 2017) and Brian Faubert (Dale). Proud Grandmother to Laurie Moffatt (Mark), Linda Morrison (Brian), David Faubert (Annette), Michael Faubert (Suzanne), Shelley Debusschere (Ron), Tracey La Butte and Scott Skipper (Aimee). Great-Grandmother to 18 and Great-Great-Grandmother to 11, also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ann and Carl worked together in Tilbury at the Lincoln Toy Factory. They enjoyed their first business together at the corner of Richmond Street and Bloomfield Road where they sold or rented pop-up tent trailers. Both Ann and Carl enjoyed travelling, first in a pop-up tent trailer and then in a motor home. Many winters were spent in Florida but they travelled together with friends throughout United States and into Mexico as well as travelling coast to coast across Canada. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with lunch following at Tilbury Knights of Columbus Hall, Dupuis Street, Tilbury, Ontario.
