Anita, Scott, Jan and Deanne it was a very sad day indeed to hear of Al’s passing. What a fine man he was. He treated everyone the same and when you joined his team, the Blues in my case he made you feel welcome. His smile everytime you met up with him was infectious. He will be so missed by his friends at the Kinsmen Club and by all of us who had the joy of playing hockey on Sunday mornings or Friday nights or in Kinsmen Tournaments or with the Silverwings. Guys like Al Dupuis don’t come along all that often and I’m just glad I had the chance to know him. Please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband, father and grampa. I hope they give him some new equipment for his first game where he’s no doubt going. You can be sure he’ll have his “ first aid “ bag when he enters that big dressing room in the sky. God speed Al Dupuis.

So sorry about your loss. Al was one of my favourite people. Great smile and laugh. Always felt good being with him. Was great friend to Craiger. Gave him his start at public speaking. Handed him the mic after a kinsmen tournament at young age and then every year after. We all loved him and he loved everyone Ken, Marg and Craig Rivard
