Obituary of John (Jean) Mailloux

MAILLOUX, Joseph Jean Remi (John)

Beloved husband of Bernadette (Bastien), for 49 years, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on August 24, 2021, at the age of 75.  John will be deeply missed by his children, Philip Mailloux (Tina Cousineau) and Natalie (Peter) Agius.  Proud grandfather to grandchildren: Austin, Madeline and Lily Mailloux, Taya, Trevor, Kendra, Kyle and Deena Agius and Brandon and Ryan Cousineau.  Dear brother of Georgette (late Lucien) Desaulniers, Pierrette (Harry) Derikx, late Rose Marie (Henry) Labbé, Bernadette (late Bruce) Robertson, Henry (Marie) Mailloux, Therèse Mailloux, Marguerite (Ray) Schultz, Noel (Karen) Mailloux, and late André Mailloux.  John was predeceased by his parents Norman and Léonie (Quenneville) and step-father Joseph Labbé.  John will be sadly missed by numerous in-laws, and nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Howe for his compassion and care over the last few years and to the VON staff at Windsor Hospice for their loving care over the past few weeks.  John was an amazing, beautiful, kind, and patient man who was full of life and touched many of us in a special way.  We love you to the moon. XOXO.  Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Windsor-Essex Cancer Foundation or Windsor Hospice.
