Obituary of Theresa Monica Glasier

GLASIER, THERESA (nee Mailloux) 84 years, passed away peacefully on Jan 26, 2012 surrounded by her children and grandchildren, at Hotel Dieu Grace in Windsor. Dear mother of Joanne and (Jim Swan) of London, Anita of Toronto, Mary-Ann of Guelph and David and (Dale Worth) of Tilbury. Cherished grandmother of Jillian and Adam Swan and Amanda Worth-Glasier. Daughter of the late Arthur(1974) and Bertha(1990) Mailloux. Dear sister of Marcella Demers and late husband Armand (1988) of Tilbury, Annette Sylvestre (2011) and late husband Adelard (1998) Germaine Robert (2011) and late husband Paul(2005) Juliette and Irvin Ducharme of Chatham, and the late Rene Mailloux (1977) and wife Theresa Beecroft of Chatham. Pre-deceased by Henry Glasier (2002). She will be sadly missed by dear friend Willie Desimpel and numerous nieces and nephews. Theresa had a zest for life. She loved playing euchre, pepper, checkers as well as spending time with family and friends. The family wishes to thank staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor for the care given to Theresa. Visitation at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury on Saturday February 4, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation. Memorial donations made to St. Francis Xavier Church - Building Fund, Tilbury Liesure Centre, Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice appreciated.
