BELLAIRE, Alphonse Joseph

April 20, 1931 - April 5, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the passing of Alphonse Bellaire at the age of 89. Beloved husband and best friend of Rita Demers Bellaire for 43 years. Cherished and proud father of David Bellaire, Daniel (Denise) Bellaire, the late Shirley Scharf, step-dad to James (Karen) Demers, Janice Demers-Rivard. Pepe to Jennifer, Mandy, Lindsay (Phillip Psutka) Bellaire, Angela (Brennan) Fluke, Dr. Mark (Kahlee) Demers, Michelle Demers, Breanne, Allison, Julianne, Jaqueline Rivard. Great-grandfather to Maebel and one on the way. Survived by sister Corrine Quenneville. Pre-deceased by his first wife; Joyce McAuley (1973), parents; Leon and Emma (Baillargeon) Bellaire, siblings; Edmond, Hector (surviving Sylvia) Bellaire, Bernadette (Cliff) Lassaline, and sister-in-law Sr. Shirley McAuley. As per Aphonse’s wishes a  private funeral will be held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc. with a celebration of life at a later date.  Thank you to Dr. Bryan and Dr. Ray Anderson and all staff at Tilbury Manor Long Term Care. Alphonse was an adult server at Visitation Parish Church Comber, member of the Stoney Point Sportsmen's Club and Legion Branch 399 Belle River. Alphonse worked at G.M.
