Obituary of Mary Micheline Kosovitch

KOSOVITCH, Mary Micheline 

On January 8, 2021 Mary Kosovitch (nee Koszycki) of Comber passed away peacefully. 

Born November 3, 1923 in Sokolow, Poland, Mary moved to Canada when she was a teenager. She was the beloved wife of John (deceased). Loving mother of Mitchell and wife Luana Kosovitch of Windsor, William and wife Grace Kosovitch of South Salem, New York, and Patricia Johnstone of Mississauga and sons Tyler and wife Jen Johnstone of Milton, and Jeremy Johnstone of Mississauga. Great grandmother of Chloe and Aubrey Johnstone, and Jaxon Johnstone. Dear sister of late Mike and wife Pauline Koszycki of Tilbury, and predeceased by sister-in-laws Helen Lamarche of Toronto, and Anne Smokorowski, Victoria Matichuk and Ruby Dobranski of Leamington. Mary and John proudly built their family farm in Comber, Ontario after their marriage. Mary's family was her priority and greatest joy. After a hard day's work they spent time together on the farm doing what they loved most - gathering at the table, eating, talking and laughing, enjoying life and sharing it with friends and neighbors.  A private family Funeral Service will be held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  Interment to follow at McDowell Cemetery, Comber.  The family wishes to express their deepest heartfelt gratitude for the compassion and care of the staff and volunteers at the Mennonite Home of Leamington.
