To the family of Joan, We are so incredibly sorry for your loss, your mom and my mother (Carol Parent) ended up as roommates at MET hospital for an extended time last winter. Even when my mom was transferred to rehab, I still made a stop up once a week to visit with her. Your mom and my mom continued to be friends, and after I returned to Nova Scotia back in May we had regular video chats with the three of us to check in and see how she was doing. We hadn't been able to reach her for the last couple weeks but we will always miss her and remember her for how kind she was. She absolutely adored my son Lucas, and he took right to her. We will miss her, but know she is in a place of health and happiness now. Lots of Love from Carol, Lucas and I.

To the Family of Joan Garant : When your Mom had her store downtown I did Silk Flowers for her and we always had a lot of laughs together . My Deepest Sympathy to you and as I live in London I haven't seen your Mom for a long time and was saddened when I read this today .
